On Wednesday, Dec 1st, from 10:00 – 11:00am CT, please join RT4MN for a panel discussion on Drones and Aerial Surveillance. We will be exploring the history of areal surveillance, the proliferation of drones used by local law enforcement, and the increasing militarization of the sky.

  • Sam Richards is an investigative reporter focusing on aerial surveillance and other topics. Sam broke the FBI Sky Spies story in 2015 and has been researching, reporting and organizing around surveillance and related subjects ever since.   • Essam Attia served for three years as a geospatial analyst in the US Army, He then earned a BFA in photography from the School of Visual Arts and went on to create his most notable artworks, Drone Zones, and The Drone Campaign.  When not making art and running a non-profit Essam can often be found on Capitol Hill working as a public policy advocate for veteran and military-related issues.
